How do I get started?  Rack suits are sold exclusively by the chest measurement. For example, size 38, 40, 42, etc. They come in small, regular, and long. So even if two people have a weight difference of 30-40 lbs, they have to wear the same suit size based on their chest measurement! How can that be possible? Custom made suits are made to fit YOU. Did you know that your posture plays an important role in the way your suits lays and hangs on you? By measuring every part of your body, and following your posture, we ensure a perfect fit. From the time you see us, are measured, have chosen your fabric and style, it takes 4-5 weeks to make the garment. In certain cases, we will be able to rush an order out in 2-3 weeks. When your garment is ready, we call you into the showroom for the final fitting and make sure everything is perfect to yours and our satisfaction. At Mahiras you are dealing with a local tailor and with Manu Mahtani who has 44 years of experience. We’ve been serving Seattle since 1969. Our workshop has been in Hong Kong for the last 44 years, and our oldest employee has worked for us for 43 years! We make all our garments in our own workshop and there’s no outsourcing. Our workers have been trained and we pay attention to every given detail. We don’t just sell a suit, we sell the enthusiasm that goes into building the product as well. Finally, we have tailors that we employ here in Seattle to give you the final fittings to make sure we’ve made the garment to your needs. We have a wide range of fabrics that we use to make our suits. Generally, our fabrics are imported from England and Italy. Cloth grades from Super 70’s to Super Fine 180’s are from the finest mills and are certified goods. We tell you which cloth comes from which mill. Our average price range for the Super 70’s to Super 130’s is $795-1495. We also have cloths from mills like Loro Piano, Dormeuil, Ermenegildo Zegna,  Charles Clayton, Wain Shiell, Holland & Sherry, Giorgio Vallino, and Vitale Barberis Canonico. These are Super Fine 150s to 180s and their price range is from $1595 and up. We will sell you what you are comfortable buying. You have our word on that.
